Day 01 - Cochin To Kumarakom
When you land in Cochin, a tour agent will be waiting to greet you. Take an aided transfer to Kumarakom, which is well-known for its backwater tourism all over the world. Many tourists from all over the world are drawn to this lovely village by its lush foliage and peaceful surroundings. A huge diversity of migratory and resident birds call it home, too. Check into the hotel as soon as you get at Kumarakom. Following the formalities, you are free to tour the area at your leisure. Spend the night.
Day 02 - Kumarakom Sightseeing
On Day 2 of the Kerala Backwaters Tours, Kumarakom sightseeing is planned. Visit the Kumarakom beach in the morning to engage in enjoyable activities like swimming and water sports, and then go to the Vaikom Mahadev temple to pay your respects to Rishi Parshuram, a manifestation of Lord Vishnu. Finally, taking a sunset cruise in the late afternoon would be a great way to treat your eyes to the beauty all around. The largest lake in Kerala, Vembanad Lake, is well known for its cruise possibilities where visitors may see a variety of beautiful birds. Spend the night in Kumarakom.
Day 03 - Kumarakom To Alleppey
At the well-known Vembanad Bird Sanctuary, also known as Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, which is spread out across 14 acres of land, you can start your day with an early morning bird watching safari. Choosing to go on a boat tour will allow you to see over 100 different bird species, such as kingfishers, water ibis, Indian darters, herons, pin-tailed ducks, ospreys, wood beetles, larks, flycatchers, Siberian cranes, teal, water ducks, owls, cuckoos, and steppe eagles. Drive to Alleppey, a popular Kerala backwater getaway, in the afternoon. Check into a houseboat, or kettuvallam as they are known locally, when you arrive. This luxurious houseboat will take you to the top sights close to Punnamda Lake. Discover a variety of migratory and local bird species. Spend the night on the ship.
Day 04 - Departure From Cochin
Check-out from the houseboat on the final day of Backwaters tour package to Kerala. Later, be sure to arrive on time for your transfer to the Cochin Airport so you may join the next aircraft.
